Want your graphics seen by thousands of Doctor who fans? Now’s your chance. My store is now advertising on Doctor Who Online, and I’m absolute rubbish when it comes to graphics. Right now all I can manage is a gif of rotating pictures of stuff in my store, and that’s just not going to bring me any traffic.So I’m opening it up to all of you ridiculously talented tumblr artists. Submissions start as soon as you get done, and can be e-mailed to woodspriteanon@gmail.com or tagged as #woodspriteanonadvert.
The prize, other than the fact that your work will be seen on one of the highest-traffic Who sites around? You get $30 worth of anything you like in my store. It’s been described multiple times as the Tumblr gift shop, so there’s bound to be something in there you like. Attached are just a few of the items you can combine and choose from. Shipping costs are on me. If I pick more than one advert, each person gets $30 worth apiece. If you want something custom-made, I can do that, too.
I seriously need a good graphic. Here’s a list of requirements:
- 225x150 px
- Must include 1px black border within the dimensions
- Can be jpg, gif, or swf file
I’d personally prefer a gif. You can use any sort of photos from the store to advertise, but focusing on Doctor Who items is best. I’d like the store name in there somewhere, but I’m not too picky.
Essentially: impress me, and you’ll probably get picked.
If you are chosen, you will be credited as the banner designer on my store’s homepage, and I’ll likely return to you for later graphic needs. Please do not include your name or a watermark in the actual banner. Winner(s) will be chosen on the 16th of May.
